Hi,
You can make the recipe ingredients display as an editor via Customize > Recipe Options > Make Ingredients is Visual Editor on Edit Recipe Screen
When you done, back to edit a recipe and you can see the editor appears on Recipe Ingredients.

I would like to be able to format the area where the ingredients go on my recipes.
like this. but maybe bold some of the text and definitely be able to make spaces with headlines in the ingredients area.
