thanks! The problem is as soon as I customize, the preview shows that it’s been removed. And when I exit customize “mode” it goes back to a screen that still shows the slogan. And there are other things that don’t look the same as they do when customizing is active

1/ It's slogan text, you can remove/change it via Customize > Logo and Header Options > Header Slogan Text
Let it blank if you want to hide it.
2/ Please go to Appearance > Widgets > on "Header SignUp Form" > remove all widgets inside it.
Also, I see your logo image has quite much white space around it. You should remove it to get a better look.

Hi there - I am having a few issues.
1) I don't know how to get rid of the tagline from the Soledad demo which says -- fashion & life style bloggers.
2) Also having trouble changing the color of the red bar under it.
