Hi,
That query just applies when you use this element inside a single post page. And this excludes will help you exclude the current posts that you're viewing. If you want to exclude specific posts on homepage/pages, please select "Manual Selection"

I am using the Penci Latest Posts widget with exclude current post checked. It is still showing the lasted PUBLISHED post even though exclude is checked. Could it be because there are newer drafts? Or is it just not working?
