Thank you but how will it choose popular posts and not latest (recent) posts? The query panel shows posts descending which is just most recent.

If you want to make the popular posts display on vertical. Please use element "Penci Widget Recent/Popular Posts"

My client would like the most popular widget to be vertical and the latest posts to be horizontal (opposite of what they are now), but they want them formatted as they are currently.
It seems that latest posts is set to format vertically and most popular is set to be formatted horizontally. Do you know of any other way to swap them but have them still look the same?
