This still happens with all plugins except Elementor are deactivated.
Here is a video that shows the heading formatted in #1 style (even though we have selected #6). I switch it to 7 and then back to 6 and it shows 6. I save and exit. When I return, it's back to #1.

If it still doesn't work, please record for me a video about this issue. I will take it a look to see what happened. Because I see everything is fine from my-end - and I didn't see any customer said with me the issues like you said.

This is not a huge issue but you should know that the backend editor for Penci Latest Posts and for Penci Widget Recent/Popular Posts does not show correctly in the editing screen. We do have these settings saved as a Global widget and they do show correctly in the front end.
However, every time we want to edit, we have to make a change to something else (like heading title display) then change it back in order to see it correctly. For example, we are using heading option #6 but it reverts to #1 in the editor. If I change it to #7 and then back to #6 it will display correctly.
This seems to have started in the last month or so - maybe with an upgrade? All plugins are off except for Elementor.
