Thanks - I believe it is actually a Yoast setting. Attached is the setting in case anyone in the future has this issue.

Hi,
It's not issues related with our theme - this issues related with your config from Yoast.
Please check all config from Yoast - maybe you did some redirect and make it doesn't work.
I just checked and there is no any issues like this between Yoast and our theme .

We are using Penci Featured Category for our main feature post on our home page. We discovered that clicking on the author will not take you to the author archive page if Yoast is activated. When I deactivated Yoast, it works.
We must have Yoast SEO functionality so we need a fix for this.
