2/ About position of image
Please go to customizer > Addtional CSS then add custom css to do that

background-position-x: center;
background-position-y: center;
background-size: cover;
}position: top, right, bottom, left, center
size: contain, cover, auto

I try to change the quality of images for blacks, but as you can see, it is really... bad. For exemple, you can see on the home page, the "7 WEEKS – Sisyphus" image is really bad.
I use Re-Smush.it to optimize photos with high quality (you can see for the original image without "292x...".
How can I tell to block to use just original size, middle, thumbnail ?
