Please add standard support for translation plugins, using non-standard methods such as custom shortcodes defeats the point of them existing and is just really messy.

Change text on 404 page, please go to Customizer > 404 Page Options then change "404 Custom Heading Text" and "404 Custom Message Text" option
Use shortcode [pencilang] with multiple languages site (ex: [pencilang en_US='Share' fr_FR='Partager' language_code='Your language text' /]). You can check language code here

The strings which appear in the 404 page shown by PenNews (for example: https://www.retrolel.com/es/sdfas) don't show up in Polylang.
Please make them appear in there so that we can translate them.
