If you're using child theme - let's do following on the guide - activate another theme > remove parent theme > upload latest version of parent theme > and re-activate child theme
Don't remove child theme.

Hi,
What to do if you have a child-theme? The video only shows how to deal with the parent theme.
I suppose you only remove the parent theme and install that again.
In that case, do you still need to activate another theme?
Or do you suggest to wait for a while untill WP-Updates fixed their issue?

Hi,
We're using auto-update flatform from WP-Updates: http://wp-updates.com/ and it seems the updates flatform from them has issues, I just contact them and they said will fix it as soon as possible. Currently, please manually to update this theme - by do following this guide:
