Do you mean "Soledad Popular Posts" widget? If right, it doesn't affect when you update this theme. This widget building from inside our theme.

Very strange. Because I just tested update soledad and I didn't got any issues like you said.
Have you try deactivate all plugins and try to update it to find what's the issues? We tested it and I'm sure this issues doesn't related with our theme.

I do use a caching plugin(SuperCacher from SiteGround), but the popular posts widget has always worked until lately, as well as the Recent Comments widget.
Oh, I forgot to say that everytime I reinstall the theme to update it, the popular posts widget and the social media widget are automatically removed from the layout and I need to add them back through Appearance >> Customize. That's why I thought those errors had something to do with Soledad.

1/ As you can see the issues doesn't come from Soledad theme - /home/simsworl/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php - Seem you have a plugin caused this issue. Have you try deactivate all plugins and check it agian?
2/ Have you use any cache? If right, the popular posts can't update if you using a cache plugin.
In the next updates of Soledad theme, we will find a solution to solved this issue.

Hi, I'm having some issues with Soledad:
\1) Everytime I update the theme, the operation is completed successfully, but I receive the following errors:

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #2 is not an array in /home/simsworl/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 1160
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/simsworl/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 1162
Warning: array_merge(): Argument #1 is not an array in /home/simsworl/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 1170
2) Soledad popular posts widget doesn't update, though I have set it to refresh once weekly. It's stuck at the same posts since some weeks. This problem also happens for Recent Comments widget (which isn't a Soledad widget), so I suspect it can somehow be related to the errors above.
