Hi,
Ah, I understand it now.
With all the posts build via Visual Composer, you need to add excerpt like on documentation of VC here
It can't be add auto the excerpt text because Wordpress will remove all shortcodes in the excerpt - and everything from VC is shortcodes.

Hi,
as said, we added the "read more" function manually to articles until archived "page 5".
So all posts (done with Visual Composer) beyond that still miss the preview text..

Q: Is there a way for the VISUAL COMPOSER posts to get the preview text again (automatically)?

Hi,
\I saw it still does display fine:
\ \For "Read more" button, do you mean the read more button with each posts?
If right, please go to Customize > Other Layouts Options > and check to "Add "Read More" button"

Hi guys,
today I updated to latest Soledad theme (4.0.1).
So far everything is fine, however I saw that for posts I conducted with Visual Composer the preview text on homepage (and older pages) is missing.
=> see attached examples.
We manually added the "read more" function, then preview text is again displayed.
Question: Can you tell me how this is shown again automatically?
