Hi,
You just need update parent theme, after you done, active again child theme. Don't update child theme.
And you don't need to upload again the demo. All your customize data won't lose when you update this theme.

Hi - I just installed the new update by deleting the parent theme, uploading the current version and installing it. I was using the child theme before I updated to the new version.
Should I delete the child theme and re-install it or just activate the child theme again? Also, should I upload the food demo again?
