Hi,
1/ Please check option for it via Customize > Other Layout Options > and check to "Remove Post Excerpt"
2/ Please go to Appearance > Widgets > in "Main Sidebar" on the right side > remove widget "Categories"

\I recently purchased the Soledad theme and have made it look the way I need to. You can access my blog on: https://www.carloop.com.au/blog/
\I do require support with 2 things at the moment:
\1. How do I remove the text on the front page of the blog (see "Blog Post Text Preview" attachment)?
\2. How can I remove the categories from the blog post sidebar (see "Categories in Blog Post" attachment)?
