Please go to admin page > Settings > Reading > and make your config look like this image.
We've said about that in the documentation for Soledad theme here

Hi,
I'd run through the search console but didn't find another matching ticket about my question. So here my problem:
Yesterday I installed the theme and searched the demo version folder. Found your description about how to install it, but your version seems to be old. The import/export plug in runs now via the customizer. Here I have to choose a file. But I have looked through all the folders and couldn't find any files about demo templates. I would like to get a path to find them.
So I didn't find the demo version to import, I decided to do it on my own. Via the customizer everything is clear. But I can not find any solving for my problem on my frontpage. My old articles didn't appear on the frontpage. I have still did the thumbnail thing via the plug in, but it don't work at all. What shall I do to get the Postings on my frontpage?
