Oh yeah, we're missing it. We will fixed it in the next update version of Soledad theme.
For now, you can hide the categories on the category mega menu via Customize > Logo and Header Options > and check to "Hide Post Category On Top Left Thumbnail Of Mega Menu"

Unfortunately the "_Slider" Category is shown in the mega menue. How can I hide the categories in the mega menü?

Thank you for purchased Soledad theme.
Yeah, you can do that by use featured category. Please do following steps:
1/ Create a new category - Example: "Slider"
2/ Add all the posts you want to display on the slider to this category.
3/ Go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > on "Select Featured Category" > select category "Slider" and check to "Hide Featured Category" to hide this category appears on your site.

Is there any option to select single posts to be featured on the slider? It would be so helpful to collect a few posts which are featured... per example with a simple check box on the post. Best regards, Karin
