Hi,
Yes, you can do that by go to Customize > General > General Settings > and check to "Disable Sticky Sidebar"

Thanks for the tip. One more question somewhat unrelated to this... is it possible to disable the sidebar movement? I'd like for it to just be static so it doesn't move when I scroll. Thank you again for all your help.

Yes, you can do that.
You can use Elementor to config your static homepage - please check more about this on the documentation for Soledad theme here

Is it possible to customize a static homepage with this theme that also includes the slider and right sidebar widgets, or are those features limited to the "your latest posts" setting? Many thanks!
