Sorry but currently this theme doesn't support this feature. You need to edit a lot of file in this theme to do that and it's not take short time to do. So, we don't provider supports for requirements like this.

Unfortunately, currently this theme doens't support change slug for portfolio. It does related with Portfolio custom posts type and now this theme doesn't support this.
We will consider to add more this feature in the future updates.

this is an article from my site. It is an article called MEET AND DRIVE from a category called GALLERY with slug name snaps. Unfortunetly when i click the article it shows portfolio and i wish to remove it off and put only the category slug instead. EG: http://driveaholic.xyz/snaps/driveaholic-meet-drive/

Seem you're wrong. Because by default, Wordpress doesn't support categories for Pages - It's for Posts only.

You don't need to use child theme. Child theme use for anyone want to override the files in this theme. Almost child theme use for web developers know about the codes.

Hello there,
Is it really necessary to download soledad child theme along with the soledad theme? My work is being done only in soledad main theme and not in the child theme. Is child theme some sort of backing theme of the main one ? is it ok not install that particular theme ?

Thank you for the reply . Also I have a query regarding the visual composer plug in. Though its installed in my website, I am not able to access it. I have WPBakery Page Builder as well, and only this one is showing up. I would prefer to work on visual composer rather WPBakery Page Builder as i can see there is a tutorial based on Visual Composer plug in from penci design itself.

Thank you for loving our theme and your great words.
We didn't tested our theme with Flickr gallery or Youtube gallery, but I think you can try with this 2 plugins:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-youtube-gallery/
Note: Maybe you need to disable gallery feature from Soledad theme to make this work ( via Customize > Single Options > Disable Gallery Feature from This Theme )

\I am very very impressed with your theme soledad, even though being a beginner in this, I could do a lot with this theme especially the marvelous freedom of customization.
\My doubt here is , I would like to have my pages with a Flickr gallery and a YouTube gallery so it would be great if your support team can give me few suggestions of a decent plugin that will not later interfere the back-end coding or lead me into a broken theme and go through the hassle of fixing it again from scratch as i had earlier experienced with a another company theme and made me suffer a lot.
