1/ You can't see it changes on your pages because you've saved all the changes as "draft" - please go to Customize > change something to make this icon appears > click on the icon and change to "Publish"
2/ About the problem like on this image - it seems you've set the margin of the first section or image inside this section is a negative number - it makes this section move up and override to the header. Please edit this page by use Elementor and check it again.
3/ Yes - some options from the pages doesn't apply for Posts & Category pages because it's not fit. So, we don't do that. And you just can custom it inside pages only.

Hi team,
I have a big problem with my header.
I took the "Vintage Blog" template and changed the header via the customizer. Everything worked. But when I open the page, the old header is there again. Even if I use elementor.
The second point is that I can change the header and also the page background on the pages, but not when I want to create a category or posts.
In the attachment I have sent screenshots, so you can see what's wrong. I hope for quick help, because otherwise I have to take a whole new template or even a new provider.
