For homepage, post & page: please go to Appearance > Customize, then navigate to:

1. - Homepage > General: In-Feed Ads on Latest Posts
2. - Featured Slider > General > Add Google Adsense/Custom HTML Code Below Featured Slider
3. - General > Category, Tag, Search, Archive Layout, find: Google Adsense/Custom HTML Code to Display Above Posts Layout for Archive Pages and Google Adsense/Custom HTML Code to Display Below Posts Layout for Archive Pages.
   
4. - Logo & Header > General > Google adsense/custom HTML code to display in header 3,
5. - Single Posts > General: scroll down and find Add Google Adsense/Custom HTML
6. - Footer > General: Add Google Adsense/Custom HTML Code Above Footer

For the sidebar ads, please go to Appearance > Widgets, select Custom HTML then assign to the Sidebar Widget you want to display.

You should go to Media > Library, upload your banner and add your ads code as HTML code. For example:
