Hi,

Please go to Appearance > Customize > Logo & Header > General, then edit the settings:

Header Layout: Header 3

Navigate to Main Bar & Primary Menu:

Menu Style: Menu Style 2
Enable Padding on Menu Item Level 1: check this option.

Navigate to Logo & Header > Color: you can change menu color by scroll down to the Primary Menu section.

Hello,

I refer to the demo theme layout that shows the primary menu with a background blue color on the menu item. (Menu Item: SHOP with background blue colour)

Can I know where exactly do I head to in Customize to achieve this same result/style/look?
