Hi,
You can remove this feature by install the Code Snippet plugin, the create a new snippet with the following code:
remove_action( 'admin_head', 'penci_add_subtitle_metaboxes' );
OR you can add that code to the end of the functions.php file.

Feature Added: Option to display the Sub-title. You can see sub-title field on the edit post screen now. And options for it via Customize > Single Posts.

Hi,
By default, WordPress doesn't have the subtitle on the text editor. Please check the plugin you've installed and remove it. Example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-subtitle/

Hi!
How can I remove the subtitle line from the text editor?
I'm not currently using this functionality, and it ends up getting in the way of editing the texts.
