Hi,
This theme doesn't required any plugin - All the recommend plugins is add-on features.
You can install/ignore any plugin you don't need.

I have installed the latest version of Soledad and have also tried to install the "required" and "recommended" plugins. I installed them in bulk and then subsequently received database errors and the site would not load. I worked with my hosting company who deactivated all of the plugins and suggested that I re-install them one by one instead.
I am hesitant to do so as I don't think I am using the "required" Penci Shortcodes, Penci Slider and Vafpress Post Formats UI with any of my posts. Of the remaining "recommended" list: Contact Form 7, Instagram Slider Widget, MailChimp for WordPress, Penci Portfolio, Penci Recipe, Penci Review, Penci Soledad Demo Importer and oAuth Twitter Feed I would likely only use Mail Chimp but I already have a widget for that so don't really know if all of these are really necessary or if I can skip them.
Please advise.
