Hi,

By default, the Customizer option only supports display featured slider by tag. In case you want to display the categories, please build your page with the Elementor/WP Bakery. For more information, please read the document here: https://soledad.pencidesign.net/soledad-document/#homepage

not able to do this.

only it says by tag and shit.

" Fill List Featured Tags for Featured SliderJust apply when you select filter by Featured Tags above. And please fill list featured tags slug here, check this image to know what is tags slug. Example for multiple tags slug, fill: tag-1, tag-2, tag-3"
