Where to write css?

Hi,
You can include your custom CSS in both methods:
- Put in child theme style.css file,
- Put in Appearance → Customize → Custom CSS

The child theme is already installed.
If I want to describe css, should I describe it in "style.css" of the child theme of "Appearance"-> "Theme Editor"?
