Hi,
1/ To remove portfolio category, please add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS:

.inner-item-portfolio .portfolio-desc span{ display: none; }
2/ To do that, you need to add more this code:
\ 'orderby' => 'rand',
like on this image

Okay, that kind of works. Is there a way that i can remove the portfolio category from underneath the portfolio title when you hover
For instance : The directory photographers underneath Butterfly Photography as per the image attached.

Why you don't use portfolio element from Soledad theme?
It's already included in Visual Composer element. Check this video for more.

I've attached screen grabs which should show you everything. I can't find where i could be going wrong. thanks
1 shows that i've assigned the portfolios to the category "directory photographers"
2 shows the page design
3 shows the settings - including where i've narrowed down the display to only show those in portfolio category " directory photographers"
4 shows what the page continues to display - only 1 portfolio.

Hi,
Let's check again your config. You're using grid masonry from Visual Composer. This feature tested many time from Visual Composer and it's not wrong - because you're doing wrong something to make it doesn't work, so please check it again or maybe you don't enough portfolio to display there.
