Hi,

Have you check on Customize > Featured Slider Options > "Exclude All Posts In Featured Category In Latest Posts on Homepage"?

If you did it, please un-check it and use featured categories slug in the list categories you want to exclude from Homepage Options.

If you didn't, please try deactivate all plugins and try again.

If it still doesn't work, send me your admin url and admin account ( username and password ) - in a private reply. I will take it a look.
