This problem is not relevant to the Classic Widget plugins.
Maybe your site has an error with the WP-JSON plugin, so the Gutenberg editor can't work properly. Please go to Tools → Site Health to check your site error detail.

I have a problem as I cannot use the Gutenberg Editor anymore for posts and pages, when I edit a post/page the Penci Widgets are not available anymore.
Is that because the Classic Widgets Plugin is activated?
I had activated it after recommendation from you because I wanted the category widget for my sidebar in the layout of the Soledad demo...
Please advise what to do.
