I have the same message from Google Console. I received an email saying this:
"Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 2 new Accelerated Mobile Pages related issues. This means that Accelerated Mobile Pages may be negatively affected in Google Search results. We encourage you to fix these issues.
Tag 'amp-accordion > section' must have 2 child tags - saw child tags.
\The tag 'amp-accordion' requires including the 'amp-accordion' extension JavaScript."
Then another email:
"Google systems have detected that some of your AMP pages do not meet our guidelines; therefore these pages are not eligible for AMP-related features in Google Search. The Accelerated Mobile Pages report lists some of these pages. "
All I've done is activate the plugin. I've not changed anything. It was working fine and this happened all of a sudden on its own. I've no idea how to fix this I'm not very tech savvy, so could do with some help.

You can fixed it by pick one in the ways here:
1/ Use text only for category description. ( remove all inline Custom CSS )
2/ Ignore this issue, because AMP pages focus on single posts and pages. The category page is not important.

So what do you suggest I do? I deleted all the style CSS code from the category pages. pending validation.
\or you recommending I disable the AMP option from the website.

This issue caused by you did use editor on category description => this make your front-end appears the inline CSS - check this image
And the inline CSS doesn't allow on AMP - That's why the issues appears for some category pages only and that's why I said with you the AMP has a lot of rules need to follow, this make AMP is simple and doesn't has much feature.
