Please go to Customize > Social Media Options > on "Email" field, you need to fill:
mailto:karen@evergreenawakening.com
We've said about this issue in the description on "Email" field.

Hello,
I am using the Soledad theme for my Wordpress blog and I love it! I do have on little issue I have not been able to figure out, however. I used a top bar on my site, which includes my social icons. My twitter and facebook icons works properly. However, I noticed my e-mail icon does not use the "mailto:" command. Instead, it is trying to link to my e-mail address as if it is a website. It links to "http://evergreenawakening.com/karen@evergreenawakening.com".
Do you know how I can fix this? Thank you!
