The featured image doesn't show on Facebook because you've not installed any SEO or plugin that adds the Facebook OG information tag to the site header, and Yoast SEO is one of the most popular SEO plugins that support this feature. Please install it and follow the instruction on the link I've sent or view the image above.

I checked the page you referred to but there is no information about my question.

"It's important that the posts appearing in your slider should have a featured image assigned to them " - Done.

I cannot get the featured image from my posts visible on Facebook when I share the post.

Is the theme social media friendly. I am using the Bitcoin News Theme and while I have marked that I want the featured image visible on the post (in the post setting: Hide Featured Image Auto Appears on This Post?) .. it is not seen by Facebook when I share the URL to the post. Can you help?
