I' ve got exactly the same problem.
I updated the theme yesterday and the Site became really slow.
I've increased the memory_limit as well as the max_execution_time with no luck.
Are you planning to release an update?

Hi,
The Penci Shortcode and Performance plugin will scan and get all the critical CSS for the page to improve the loading time, so this progress takes a lot of resources the first time to do this job.

It appears that an update for your theme is increasing the PHP and CPU
usage. Using the theme twentytwentytwo everything is back to normal.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the Shortcode and Performance plugin
disabled. The only thing that works is switching to another theme.
If I leave soledad on it will shoot the CPU/RAM usage spawning a lot of
PHP processes. Likely there's a memory leak or any other type of coding
error on the new version.
