Please upload and overwrite it to the folder:

Thanks for getting back. I deleted the list of image files from penci-framework/assets/img and the uploaded my images, but use the same image file names.
I turned off and deleted all caching in my hosting account. Deleted the cache on my site. Cleared the cache in my browser and opened a new private window.
Unfortunately it is still not working.

Hi,
After updating PenNews and Penci Framework plugin, you need to re-upload all default thumbnail images, then clear all the site cache then check again.

After updating the theme the following placeholder images stopped working and I re-added as mentioned below, but it is not working this time. Has anything changed since the last update?

Hi,
Unfortunately, the current version of PenNews doesn't support the option to change the default placeholder image.
You can manually replace all default images by uploading/replacing the image at:
wp-content/plugins/penci-framework/assets/img
Here is a list of placeholder image files:
no-image-slider1.jpg
no-thumb - Copy.jpg
no-thumb-120-80.jpg
no-thumb-40-27.jpg
no-thumb-40-30.jpg
no-thumb-90-90.jpg
no-thumb.jpg

Hi,
I sometimes have related posts that do not have a featured image and therefore the placeholder image shows. I'd like to change the placeholder image, or remove placeholder image for just the posts that don't have a featured image.
Is this possible?
