Hi,
1/ Please check options for it via:
Customize > Standard & Classic Layout Options > Hide Post Date
Customize > Other Layouts Options > Hide Post Date
Customize > Homepage Options > "Hide Date on HomePage Popular Posts" & "Hide Post Date on Featured Categories on Magazine Layouts"
2/ Seem you didn't select Page Template for your pages is "Page VC Builder No Sidebar" or "Page VC Builder With Sidebar" - check this image to know where to select page template.

On a static homepage or additional page, how do I remove post dates in the Soledad post elements from Visual Composer? I've used 'Latest posts', 'Featured category' etc and I just want the thumbnail and heading with no post date.
Also is it possible to add categories on these?
I'm also getting a weird glitch on the underscore to these post section headings where a short additional section of underscore appears under the heading, pushing it up - see pic.
