You can edit it by going to Appearance → Customize → Footer → Footer Widgets Area.

Hi,
1/ You can do that by going to Appearance > Widgets > on the sidebar "Header SignUp Form" > remove the search widget inside this sidebar.
2/ You can do that by going to Customize > Homepage > General > and check to "Enable Sidebar On Homepage" and "Enable Left Sidebar On Homepage"

1) need to know how to take the search field off. It is appearing in the middle on all pages. Can't find the widget or option to disable this. ( attached image )
2) I want to choose a different hompage template, again, searched and searched and can't find the option or documentation that explains how to choose a different home page template - I would like the "home with left sidebar
