Thanks again for looking into this, but I did try the one click demo installation again and it still stuck. Would you be able to log back in and do it? Thanks for all your help.

Hi,

I've checked your site, the problem is that you've installed & activated multiple demo importer plugins, so the PenNews Import progress can't work properly.

I've disabled all other importer plugins, please try to import again.

Hello PenciDesign team,

Thanks for installing the theme, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, we're now stuck at the next step: performing the One Click Demo import of the Breaking News template. Our site has existing content, but we want to bring in the demo. Each time we do it, the process starts, then gets stuck at the downloading demo files step. How do we successfully install the demo? (Please note that I'm not a web developer or web designer, that's why I'm asking so many questions.) Thanks.

Hello PenciDesign team,

Thanks for your reply. Respectfully, I had already done those steps from the start and got the error, but I followed your words and did it again and got the same error. Please see the attached screenshot. Is there an alternate way to install this plugin? It's the one thing keeping the Demo import from working. How can we get this installed?

Hi,

Please go to dashboard → Appearance → Install Plugins: check the Penci Framework plugin then install it on this page.

We're trying to install the PenNews theme, and all of the plugins successfully installed except the Penci Framework plugin. How do we get this installed? By the way, the forum website didn't have an answer for this.
