The role of Penci Container

Hi,

\

Haha, so the culprit was the hidden -15px margins of the classic VC row container.\

\

It is more about a principle than my page. The containers should all align when set for the same width. It is weird to have such differences.\

\

Hoping for unification :)\

\

Have a nice day:)\

Hi,

Because you're using row container - and row container from VC, by default it has margin-left and margin-right is  '-15'

I think you should use this section inside Penci Container to make it good.

Yes I said too that Penci Container has 1400px total width. It doesn't go to 1430px, the padding is inside the 1400s.

\

However we have 1430px width for a classic Row Container set at 1400px.

\

A demo on my home page: above Penci Container, just under - a Row Container. Full width page template, both set at 1400px central alignment, without margin/border/padding:

Hi,

It has 15px on the left & right - so you see it has 1430px width. But, all the total content below has exactly 1400px widthsmile.png

Hi,

\

Ahaa, so that is the secret of Penci container ! Thank you ! I think users would be glad to find info about the sticky feature in the documentation (right now there is no trace about Penci container).\

\

 \

\

Auxilliary question.\

\

When we insert a Penci container “container fluid 1400px” centered in a full width page, its width will be exactly 1400px.\

\

However if we insert a row “container fluid 1400px” centered in a full width page, its width will be … 1430px.\

\

 \

\

Is there an explication ?\

\

 \

\

Have a nice day:)

Hi,

The container element build-in by us. It supports you a create container in rows from Visual Composer with options like rows of visual composer. And important - it supports sticky sidebar ( rows from VC doesn't support sticky sidebar  )

You can check this example to know what's sticky sidebar.

Hello,

\

Despite my searches, I could not find detalied info about the “Penci Container” (in the page builder). Please, what would be its advantages compared to a classic Row – a customizable container by itself ?\

\

The sticky property ? What does that means ?\

\

Thank you for enlightenment :)\
