The problem is that the browser need a little time to read the cookie data and then apply the settings to the site, so the user needs to wait a few moments.
We're currently researching the best solution for this case.

Hi guys, I love the new dark mode... but its giving me and my visitors some white flashes...
If you go to another page, with dark mode on, it shortly flashes the old white background. Giving us seizures! ;)
Is there a way the whole site can just stay in Dark Mode the whole time? This isnt great now like this.

I made a little video, but can't upload it here. But you can check for yourself when you click around the site with Dark Mode button on. Do you see the white flashes as well?
