There is no SPACE only option in the Meta Separator options???

Soledad needs to add that. Like I said before, hardly any LIVE SITE uses SEPARATOR ICON between meta items.

Are you saying the following cannot be done??

META SECTION

1. Post Author.  

show author avatar instead of author name 

3. Use spaces instead of vertical divider between each meta element. 

I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE SINGLE SITE THAT USES VERTICAL DIVIDER AS SEPARATOR BETWEEN EACH META ITEM

1. I do not need help on Donation icon color.Thanks for the donation icon that works now.

Why is it not showing before? That's my question.

2. I don't have problem with the single post layout. The issue is with the META section elements not having icons options for display.

Therefore, Creating a custom single post template for a section issue DOES NOT MAKE SENSE FOR ME. Because I have to match the fonts and everything else to my installed demo. 

The proper solution is for Soledad Team to update the theme with META ICONS.

Because I am interested in buying additional license for a number of demos i can use for additional websites. I am not interested in creating a custom single post template for each additional demo that I will purchase license for.

1. Post Author.  

I need to show the avatar and not author name 

2. Views ICON Comments ICON

Can I get it just like what you did with DONATION ICON??

3. Remove the vertical divider between each meta element. I STILL need EMPTY space to separate each meta element.

You said 1. The Elementor single post builder will ignore all the settings on the Customizer,

I already set custome post template to your template.

so now you need to fix or tell me how to get my SHOW META, TITLE etc. back to where I need it to be

If this change breaks the Customization Setting, Soledad development team needs to provide an update ASAP to fix demos that are missing meta items configuratio.

1. However, the post title, category etc. no longer shows bellow the video/feature post image

2. Breadcrumbs is showing now. I disabled breadcrumbs.

Let's stop the back an forth .. I am getting tired already.

The soledad demo I installed is

NEWS STATION.

So the single post template that comes with News Station Demo

is the one that is missing the meta icons config. options.

just fix that and we are good to go.

I can't do it.

All I need is my single post template on my site.

and just have the meta section using icons for the meta elements. 

Please use my site single post to build the template.

this should be in all demos.

I will be purchasing additional soledad license for ecommerce etc.

Here is the screenshot example for meta items display on single post

1. author - need option to display user avatar ONLY .. no author name no text ie, "written by" redundant 

2, commentsz views etc. only need icons and counter.

3. donate .. need option to show icon + text 

4. like dislike - need icon outline thumbs up icon. NOT HEART ICON. Reason: hear shape is already used by wishlist in shop. therefore, unique icons is on order. Site owner can decide which one to use. But Default should be Thumbs Up / Down  

Soledad  Single post template in the library I looked at 2 of them ALL HAVE OPTIONS ABOVE.

Soledad development team needs to put this in NEWS STATION demo template and all other demos.

I am looking for replacing or modifying soledad theme single post template. the meta section 

soledad template library in elementor I don't believe is the place for that.

Can I duplicate the single post template and modify the meta section with icons??

Does the template editor support meta icons instead of just text?

If that's possible, it'll be much easier than creating a new single post template from scratch

Graphic meta icon save a lot of space on single row which needs to show all meta especially on mobile phones

A flagship premium theme like Soledad should have this feature.

Soledad post meta does not display icons only options.

1. author avatar (sufficient, if no avatar just show an user icon)

"written by" is not needed.  (professional news site just show the avatar)

an option to turn off the "written by" is needed  

2. comments icon needed and option to turn comments text off needed

3. views icon same as 2.

4. donation same as 2.

5. There is no follow author meta

6. Vote thumbs up and down required to be added. This is important especially for video posts focused sites.

Please ask the developers to add these above options to make soledad a truly professional high end go to theme.

I am sure these changes will further increase soledad sales.
