I figured it out, on general settings- sidebar for single, I just have to choose a custom sidebar. Thanks anyhow.

Hello,

I am trying to add sidebar widgets just to my single blog post,I would like to add recent posts and archive) I am not finding where to add the widgets within the widgets area, I only see where to add to other areas of the homepage of the blog.
