Hi,
You should keep the 'category' in the URL because it make your category pages unique with the page URL.
If you want to change the 'category' word, you can check the option for it via Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks.

Hello,
I would like to change the the url to "categories" in the following manner:
Now it is: www.web.com/category/market/
I would like to display: www.web.com/market/
If it is not possible, I would like just to change the word "category", for other in my language.
