The problem is because the post view from Soledad and GA total different values.
Soledad will count the post view when you user read the post while Google has another counter method.

thats strange, when I choose Once a month or Once a week, the posts that do then display are none of the actual posts with biggest traffic that I see in Google Analytics.

The popular posts will show the post with the post view total. You can change this setting by going to Appearance → Customize → Homepage → Home Popular Posts → Display Home Popular Posts on → Once Weekly.

may I ask, how does Home Popular Posts section actually work? It shows posts based on how many times they were viewed based on all the time since they were created? Is it possible to set it for example by trending for last week?
