Hi,
Yes. Maybe your hosting doesn't enable the PHP Mail feature.

I would like to address an issue which is with the contact form 7. I have added a contact form on the contact us page of my website but it is not working. I have added all the necessary things but when we click on submit button, it shows error - There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.
Please look at the screenshots for your reference and help me.
