Hi,
We've fixed that issues and release a new update for this.
Please go to Appearance > Themes > update this theme to latest version.
Also, after updated the theme, go to Appearance > Install Plugins > and update all the plugin you're using.
And this issue will gone.

Yeah, we knew about this issues. This issues caused by Facebook has changed the API, our team working on this and we will try to fixed it in the next update version of PenNews.

The social count widget shows 0 facebook fans, based on app id i think. But i want to show number of page likes as number of fans.
