Please go to dashboard → Posts → Categories: click "Edit" on the category you want to change the layout then customize like the screenshot below:

Here is the PenNews template Category page and it shows it can be done, however Ive spent days trying to get same results. https://pennews.pencidesign.net/category/life-style/
I am able to edit and customize my main page side bar items and custom design elements, however, I don't see how to apply the same functionality and design options to the Category pages. I see that on YOUR demo PenNews page you have that, but I don't even see how to customize mine. So frustrating!
