Strange, your site has some CSS doesn't load to your site.

Please try update your site to latest version and try it again. To update this theme, please go to Appearance > Themes > click on "Update" notice on PenNews preview image.

After updated the theme, go to Appearance > Install Plugins > and update all the requirements plugin come from with this theme and try it again.

If it still doesn't work, please send me your admin url and admin account ( username and password ), I will take it a look help you.
