Hi,

1/ We're working on new update to optimize more the speed of this theme.

About your issues, this CPU issue caused by on the homepage default, we're using a lot of elements & menu items. So, this makes CPU increase a bitIt will no problems with you because you don't use much like us.

2/ Can you send me your admin url and admin account ( username and password )? I will take it a look help you.

Just 2 things...

IMPROVEMENT: Can you have a look at optimizing the Featured Slider for the Home page? It adds between 10 to 20% extra to the PC/laptop CPU usage when its in the browser view point. See attached screen captures. This also happens on your demo so not specific to my site ---> http://pennews.pencidesign.com/

BUG FOUND: Plus when you disable Auto Play for Featured Slider it still plays when viewed on a smartphone or tablet.
