Yes. You need to always activate the Elementor plugin.

The footer builder uses elementor to create the footer. If I deactivate the elementor plugin after creating the footer pencil block and using it through the customizer, will the footer disappear?

Hi,
You can customize the footer without using any page builder by going to Appearance → Customize → Footer.

Hi there, I am trying to customise the theme without using elementor page builder because i'd like to deactivate it. Is there any way to design the theme's footer without using the elementor page builder?
