I believe it is ok now but whatever you tried didn't work. I managed to fix the issue by going back to an old saved version of the website. Thanks!

Hi,
If so, you should tell with me that:
On your edit page, the text is not italic like live editor & front-end. Yeah, It's quite strage.
Have you try edit that block and save it again? Because I see it still working fine when I tested it on our site.
If it still doesn't work, let's send me:
- Your admin url
- Your admin account ( username and password )
- What's the url of this page?
And I will take it a look help you.

Please compare the website content (text about Sydney) - live version vs backend version. I have added a paragraph in italics to my text about a week ago. I looks fine on the website (there is the paragraph in italics), but when I want to edit in using Visual Composer the text is still the old one like what it has been like months ago.
There is no italics paragraph at the beginning... do you see what I mean?
The Visual Composer shows my old website content, the website shows the new content. I am worried that if make changes to the website it will mess up the database or that it changes the content back to the old content.

If so, It's latest update. I don't know why you said the backend page looks like old version, what makes you feel so? Can you show me a screenshot for this?

I updated and activated Visual Composer. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. In the backend the page looks still like the old version from about 1 week ago, on the live website it is the new version. The frontend edit modus also shows the new version.

Hello! Today I have made the switch to HTTPS. I have also updated the theme to the latest version. As a next step, I wanted to update one of my pages. They look fine on the website, but when I look at the backend to edit the post, it shows an older version. I am not sure why. Is this an issue with the Visual Composer? A problem due to HTTPS switch? An issue with the theme? Thanks.
