To troubleshoot this, please disable all plugins (except for the ones that come with the Soledad theme) and then reactivate them one by one. This will help you identify which plugin is causing the issue.

I've checked your site, and the problem is that some of the installed plugins aren't compatible with PHP version 8.2. This is causing your site to slow down and become unresponsive. Please downgrade the server PHP to version 8.0 and then check again.

I don't think I need to activate the theme to customize the live-preview. I never need to do that with any theme - besides the loading time/ not loading it works on my testpage without activation.

I've checked your site, you've not activated the Soledad theme yet. So please activate this theme and then reply to this ticket, I'll hep you check the site problem.
If you want to import the demo content, please go to Appearance → Install Plugins: install the Penci Soledad Demo Importer plugin, and then try to access the demo install page again.

I just bought the theme.
My plan is to prepare everything behind-the-scenes but everytime I want to have the live-preview I get a critical error. - Is that because it's not activated or something? Because I did the activation + entered the purchase code, so it should be claimed as purchased with an active license.
Another question is how to import demos? When I want to do it like it's told in the documentation, I get an error "you are not allowed to access that page".
I just don't want to put the theme immediately online, since I need to customize it beforehand.
