1. You don't need to enter the license code for the WPBakery Page Builder plugin,
2. We'll send you an update when the new version of WPBakery Page Builder is released. You can update it via dashboard → PenNews → Install Plugins.

I am building my web iste and under plugins, all the default plugins are activated except WPBakery Page Builder, and it says I have to purchase it to update it or it would appear to be locked at version 7.2 forever?
Why did this plug in not activate with the purchased theme pack? it I hit activate it says $59 U$ for a lifetime purchase???
